Hello, and welcome to my web site, showing photo’s of the wildlife that I encounter, when out with my camera. I also have a Diary/Blog, giving a very brief account of where I have visited, and the wildlife seen that day. I try to visit several of Kent’s Bird reserves, with Oare Marshes and Dungeness being two of my favourite venues, but my local patch is the reserves at Grove ferry and Stodmarsh, and I often refer to these places as HQ. Most of the time that I am out, it will be somewhere in the Stour Valley, a place that has given me several lifer ticks, and is a place where many interesting sightings of common and sometimes rarer species can be found. Many thanks to the countless people who have helped me with Camera techniques, and also to those whom help with the identification of different species. Please click on the tab buttons at the top of the page, to view content. Regards Steve Ashton.
